Then you have landed in the right place. This content was uploaded by website visitors. They are named as descriptively as I could make them. The scenery does include numerous individual objects, and you may want to remove some if your machine feels the impact. All those texture files DO NOT have a significant impact on frame rate, as only some are used at a time. The result is a large number of texture files, due to the season changes and the mandatory use of autogen trees. The scenery required me to change the ground texture of the area, because Microsoft had placed a village in the exact location of the field.

The scenery has some traffic, using those three aircraft plus some standard FS2004 planes. I have included in the package two of my aircraft, the Hummelbird and the Skyseeker, and a C185 created by Dave Pearce, as they are part of the traffic. The field in this scenery, however, will show on the FS2004 map and in the GPS with the ID letters “CLUB”, and it has a UNICOM frequency. The field is not an “official” aerodrome, so it does not appear in the Transport Canada documentation. UPAC is the Ultralight Pilots Association of Canada. Here most UPAC annual conventions take place. Ultralights nowadays are quite capable aircraft often outperforming general aviation counterparts both in performance, range and even available technology, but most of all they are really fun to fly and require real stick and rudder.FS2004 Lubitz Field Version 1 This is the Lubitz Field, in Bright, Southern Ontario, Canada. I don’t think this will even be considered but in many countries we also have a dedicated frequency. I am sure they will be depicted somehow as they will show in the scenery straight away, but I am not sure if they will be considered as airfields at all or if they will just be scenery.Īlso, ultralights often do not need a flight plan, but are for that bound to flying only daylight VFR and often cannot enter controlled airspace, but there are exceptions. It would be great to have them in from the start. In Spain, there are far more ultralight airfields than airports, and it’s even more in other countries like France or Germany. I hope they include ultralight airfields, as there are a ton of them, a lot more than airports (at least in Europe). I fly ultralight in Spain as they are a lot cheaper to maintain and fly and you are not bound by the often draconic rules applied to general aviation. I’m not talking about them being present as that is almost a given (or at least addon aircraft), they have been in all most all flight simulators I have used until now, but the world and rules that apply to them. I am wondering if ultralights might get some love as well seeing how much detail is going into this game.
